The Completion of Keila’s Allika Kodud Celebrated Festively

Last week, the newest development in Keila – Allika Kodud – was officially opened with a festive ceremony. The 5-storey building with modern architecture has risen in the heart of Keila, near Keskpark. The red ribbon was cut by Keila’s Deputy Mayor Inga Angerjas, Scandium’s board member Kalle Aron, project manager Madis Lett, and Tesron’s CEO Kaspar Viks.

Allika Kodud is a cozy apartment building with 25 homes, located on Allika Street near Keskpark in Keila. Spacious balconies and terraces, solar panels, dedicated storage for bikes and strollers, an elevator, and a green roof are just some of the features that define the development. The building is already surrounded by beautiful green areas and fresh landscaping. The most distinctive element – the green roof – stands out among other apartment buildings like a park in the middle of paved streets. It helps balance stormwater runoff into the city’s pipelines and water systems. Additionally, it keeps the city air cleaner. As a third benefit, the green roof absorbs less heat than a black roof and offers protection against the cold during winter.

Keila’s Deputy Mayor Inga Angerjas, who also attended the opening, pointed out that the building’s architecture and exterior appearance turned out even better than initially expected from the 3D renderings.

Maido Lüiste, CEO of Scandium Kinnisvara:
“Keila is undergoing a real leap in development, and we’re grateful to have contributed by building thoughtfully designed modern homes here. Last year saw the completion of the modern Keila Song Stage, which has already hosted many beloved community events. The upcoming Keila Center will bring plenty of new recreational opportunities to the city.”

“Young families who want to move into a more modern building and a larger apartment are increasingly looking this way, as prices in the capital for similar quality homes tend to be out of reach. Allika Kodud offers a great opportunity to live in the vibrant, beautiful heart of the city, surrounded by greenery. Today, 10 comfortable apartments are still available out of the 25, and we’re happy to show them along with the show apartment to anyone dreaming of life in Keila,” Lüiste added.

The 5-storey Allika Kodud building was developed by Scandium Kinnisvara, designed by AB Korrus, and built by general contractor Tesron Ehitus.
